Hurricane Helene Relief  How Can We Help?

• Many of you have asked this question concerning our current disaster relief situation. The short answer is, there are many opportunities for us to serve together and many ways that you can give. The churches of Caldwell County are working in a concerted effort to meet the needs of our communities and beyond. Caldwell County has asked that churches in our area serve as donation locations for goods to be distributed in an orderly fashion. Please contact your church office or the Baptist Center to find a donation drop-off site.

 

Individuals may make donations to our Caldwell Baptist Association Disaster Services fund in the following ways:

1. You may give through your church, with the designation “CBA - Disaster Services”

2.  You may give directly to the Caldwell Association Disaster Services fund by mail or in person. Make check’s out to Caldwell Baptist Association with a notation “CBA - Disaster Services”. 

Mail gifts to Caldwell Baptist Association, 208 Nuway Circle, Lenoir, NC  28645.

​​​​​Thursday, March 20 at 11:00 AM

The March Lunch and Learn will be at Poovey's Chapel Baptist Church in Hudson, NC.  Bud Jernigan will be the speaker. Lunch will be provided by Poovey's Chapel.  Bible Drill/Speaker Tournament

Sunday, March 16 3:00 PM

Participating churches need to have their registration turned in to the Baptist Center by Monday, March 10. The Bible Drill Speaker Tournament will take place on Sunday, March 16 at Fellowship Baptist in Hudson. Please come out and see what all these amazing children have learned!

Vacation Bible School Clinic

Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 PM

The VBS Clinic will be at Granite Falls First Baptist Church. Come out and see all the exciting things Lifeway has to offer for this year's Magnified Theme!

Ministers Conference

Wednesday, April 2 at 10:00 AM

All ministers are welcome to attend at the Baptist Center. Brantley Moore will be the speaker.

Church Secretaries Luncheon

Wednesday, April 9 at 12:00 Noon

All church secretaries are welcome to come to the luncheon at the Baptist Center. Please RSVP by Monday, March 31st. To RSVP either call the office at 828-758-4081, or click here to RSVP online. The Scarlett Hen will be catering, and Rebecca Connell will be our guest speaker.

2025 WMU Annual Meeting & Banquet

Tuesday, April 15 at 6:00PM

All ladies are welcome to attend, you do not have to be a member of WMU to attend. The menu will be BBQ, chicken, potato salad, baked beans, slaw, roll, and assorted desserts. Cost is $16 per person, if you want to attend the event and not eat, the evet is free, but you must register. Registration and money due to the Caldwell Association by Monday, April 7 by 4:00 PM. You may mail in your registration or drop off in person at 208 Nuway Circle Lenoir, NC.

The Spring Gathering of Messengers will be at Lower Creek Baptist Church.

Harvest Seeds Ministry

The Caldwell Baptist Center continues to be a collection site for used literature for Harvest Seeds Ministry. Please bring your gently used literature to the back of the Baptist Center during the hours of 8:30am-12:30pm and 1:30-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Press the button beside the glass door to alert the staff that you have arrived. Literature must be delivered in cardboard boxes with lids for easy packing. If the box has flaps, please make sure the flaps are not folded into the box. The boxes must be brought ready for shipment with no exposed literature.
