The Caldwell Baptist Center will be closed December 19 through December 27, 2022. The office will open at 8:30 AM on December 28. Everyone have a blessed Christmas. 

2023 Calendar of Activities

The Caldwell Baptist Association's 2023 Calendar of Activities is ready to be picked up. This is a tool for ministry designed for use by the member churches of the association. Calendars may be picked up Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-12:00 PM and 1:30-4:30 PM. See the above closure dates.

RA Racer Kits

We have a new shipment of RA Racer Kits available at the Baptist Center. The price has increased this year to $5.00 per kit. We still have some kits left over from last year which we will sell for $4.25 until they are gone. Pick up your kits early to get the best price. The associational Racing for Missions will take place on March 10 and 11 at Harris Chapel Baptist Church. See the above closure dates.

International Missions and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

The Week of Prayer and Mission study for International Missions and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is December 4-11, 2022. 100% of your gifts to this offering enable gospel transformation among unreached people all around the world. Thank you for praying and contributing.

Raking for Missions

This is a local mission project sponsored by the Associational Baptist Men's Team.  Churches are encouraged to choose a date and time within the two-month period (Mid-October through Mid-December) to rake leaves in their neighborhood. Each church is responsible for making arrangements with homeowners to be on their property and to rake their leaves. This will be an opportunity to share the Gospel as appropriate, pray with the homeowners, and to share information about your church. Media Library Christmas Fellowship

Church librarians will meet for their annual Christmas Fellowship on Monday, December 5 at 6:30 PM at Miller Hill Baptist Church, 1230 Virginia Street, Lenoir. Please bring finger foods and books to swap. We will not be exchanging gifts but there will be door prizes. The program will be Information about the Jan Karon Museum, presented by Sarah Thomas.

Tax Seminar

The next Ministers Conference will be held on December 7 at 10:00 AM at the Caldwell Baptist Center. The program will be a Tax Seminar, presented by Bethany Scott of J&D Tax Service. She will deal with tax issues that ministers and other church leaders need to understand. Church treasurers, finance committee members, secretaries, deacons, as well as pastors are encouraged to participate. A Dutch-treat lunch will be enjoyed by all interested persons at a nearby restaurant following the conference.

Senior Adult Lunch & Learn

The next Senior Adult Lunch & Learn will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 11:00 AM at the Mayflower Seafood Restaurant in Lenoir. The meal will be Dutch-treat. The Bible Study leader will be Rev. John Barnhardt, Interim Pastor at Clover Baptist Church. Please register by Friday, January 6 by calling the Baptist Center at 758-4081.

The second  Lunch & Learn in 2023 will be held on Thursday, February 9 at 11:00 AM at New Vision Baptist Fellowship located at 4858 Grace Chapel Rd, Granite Falls. The meal will be compliments of the church. The Bible Study leader will be Dr. Lee Church, Retired Minister and member of New Vision. Please register by Friday, February 3 by calling the Baptist Center at 758-4081. Please share these two events with the senior adults in your church.

Winter Associational Gathering

The Winter Associational Gathering of Messengers will take place at College Avenue Baptist Church in Lenoir on Thursday, January 26 at 7:00 PM. The theme is "The Holy Word of God...The Living Word" Hebrews 4:12.

Harvest Seeds Ministry

The Caldwell Baptist Center continues to be a collection site for used literature for Harvest Seeds Ministry. Please bring your gently used literature to the back of the Baptist Center during the hours of 8:30am-12:30pm and 1:30-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Press the button beside the glass door to alert the staff that you have arrived. Literature must be delivered in cardboard boxes with lids for easy packing. If the box has flaps, please make sure the flaps are not folded into the box. The boxes must be brought ready for shipment with no exposed literature.
