Dudley Shoals Baptist Church will send a team of volunteers to eastern Kentucky April 2020 to deliver Hope Boxes to school children in grades K-8. Poverty has devastated this area since the decline of the coal mining industry. Hope Boxes are shoe boxes filled with basic necessities such as school supplies and toiletry items. Gender specific, age appropriate gifts are also included. The boxes are disbursed by volunteers directly to students in public schools, allowing the opportunity to bring hope and share the Gospel of Jesus. In order to generate the number of boxes needed for this year's mission, DSBC needs your help. Whether your organization chooses to donate items or fill shoeboxes, you can make a difference!
