Poovey’s Grove Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 10 am, with lunch following the service. Myron Davis will be the guest speaker. All members, former members and visitors are invited to join us for this time of worship, celebration and fellowship.

Join Mount Zion Baptist Church in The Pursuit of Revival. Speakers will be Josh Smith, Matt Cowan, Thomas McCluskey, and Kenny Mills. Make plans to attend.

Food Ministries: 

Union Grove Baptist Church, 1808 Union Grove Road, Lenoir, NC

2nd & 4th Tuesdays (5:00PM-7:00PM): Join Union Grove Baptist Church each month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday for their "Bags of Blessings" Food Ministry Distribution. Everyone is welcome! If it is your first time participation please bring a photo id with current address. The goal is to serve between 450-650 families.

Poovey's Chapel Baptist Church, 2822 Poovey's Chapel Road, Hudson, NC

Last Saturdays of Each Month (10:00AM- 11:00AM): Join Poovey's Chapel Baptist Church on the last Saturday of each month for their Food Pantry and Clothes Closet event. The event will begin at 10 AM and conclude at 11 AM. They will have a convenient drive-thru service for the food pantry, and once you have received your food, you are welcome to explore the clothes closet inside. This event is open to everyone, and if its your first time joining, kindly remember to bring a photo ID with your current address. The church is located at 2822 Poovey's Chapel Rd, Hudson, NC 28638.
