Chuck holds a BA-Theology degree from The Baptist College of Florida, and an MDiv w/ Christian Ed degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Bounds have three sons, Jake - married to Alex, Ben - married to Grace, and Patrick. Chuck and Martha Jo like to go to antique shops and festivals, and also enjoy arts and crafts. Chuck’s hobbies and interests include woodworking, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

“I am so very thankful to be a part of what God is doing in Caldwell Baptist Association. I have a lot of favorite Bible verses; I will forever love the thought of 1 John 3:1 - ‘Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!’”

Amanda started working at Caldwell Baptist Association on August 7, 2023. She is married to Dustin, and they have two daughters, Allie and Rhea. Amanda is a pastor's wife, and her husband pastors Watauga Baptist Church. Her father, Raymond Spann, is the pastor of Grandview Park Baptist Church. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University. She taught eleven years in the public school system before coming to the association. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and reading. Amanda is grateful for the opportunity to serve Caldwell Baptist.

My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 4o: 31 "But they they wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
