Baptist Children’s Homes

Food and Supply Roundup

A total of 26 churches in the association gave 5,780 items of food and supplies plus $2,054.62 in checks, cash and gift cards on Sunday afternoon, May 2. All of the food, supplies, money, and gift cards were taken to Thomasville, the headquarters of the Baptist Children’s Homes, on May 4. The items will be sent to the various children’s homes across the state based on the individual needs of each location. I deeply appreciate each participating church and special thanks goes to Larry Knight and youth from the First Baptist Church of Granite Falls who helped sort, count, and pack the items on May 2. They did a great job!
